Apiacas
Historic production of over 1Moz of placer gold
Overview
The Apiacás Project spans 82,000 hectares in Brazil’s Alta Floresta Belt, with historic production of over 1Moz of placer gold—90% from the Mutum target. Drilling confirms disseminated gold mineralization over a 4km x 1km area, with results including 30.5m @ 0.52 g/t and 62m @ 0.32 g/t gold. Trenching includes highlights of 9m @ 9.4 g/t gold.
Drill results to date do not yet explain the very significant amount of placer gold previously recovered at Mutum. There is a broad spatial relationship between areas of hydrothermal alteration hosting gold mineralization and magnetic lows.
Strong geophysical potential and under-explored primary gold sources make Apiacás a high-upside investment opportunity. Planned drone magnetometer surveys aim to further delineate these trends and to define further drill targets.
